Artist's Profile

Andrew Paviour is a Sydney based figurative painter and sculptor whose works are inspired by the observation of human behaviour and the contemporary world. The works are derived from actual moments and events.
Andrew is highly regarded for the sophistication of his drawing and use of colour, and for the contemporary themes in his work. He is an influential figure among a younger generation of Australian figurative artists.

The paintings are oil colour on stretched oil-primed Belgian or Italian linen canvas  and are framed with a red cedar surround.
